RevenueRecognition in association with IDC: Sarbanes-Oxley and Revenue Recognition Practices in association with IDC, present the findings from a survey of 400 business leaders on the impact of Sarbanes-Oxley on revenue recognition practices. The report shows that more than half (55%) of all public companies, have changed revenue recognition policies as a result of Sarbox and that many of these changes were “moderate” to “significant”. Other findings include: the impact of business models, ongoing control risks, technology plans, costs, and outsourcing.
