Lynne Triplett, Partner, National Professional Standards
Lynne serves in the Accounting Principles Consulting Group of Grant Thornton LLP, and has more than 25 years of experience assisting public and private companies with complex accounting, auditing and SEC matters with an emphasis on revenue recognition, income taxes and share-based payment. She has served on FASB revenue recognition working groups, including for EITF Issues 08-1, 09-3, and 08-9.

Lynne is a member of Grant Thornton’s National Professional Services Group which is responsible for, among other matters, providing timely information on current accounting, auditing, financial reporting and SEC developments to the firm’s clients and personnel. She is also one of the national directors of Grant Thornton’s U.S. Technology Industry Practice.

Professional Qualifications
In addition to her public accounting experience, Lynne previously worked with a large consulting firm providing US GAAP research and transaction support to company finance personnel, and also worked in the inspections division of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).

Education and Affiliations
Lynne is a graduate of Arizona State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
