 Erik is a Managing Director with Protiviti, leading the western region Finance Transformation practice. He has over 20 years of finance, accounting operations management and consulting experience, including organization, process improvement and technology-related solutions. In addition to Finance Transformation, his areas of practice have also included Project Risk Management, Application Controls Effectiveness and SOX Compliance. Among the industry lines in which Erik specializes are software, high-tech manufacturing and retail.
Erik’s experience with revenue recognition and reporting challenges is extensive and hands-on. He has designed numerous enterprise systems that encompass revenue recognition policies and functionality, assure compliance, and utilize best practices for revenue management. His project work spans Assessment, Due Diligence, Business Case Development, Design, Implementation and Execution phases. He has led teams and delivered strategic projects for such companies as Hewlett-Packard, Agilent, Electronic Arts, Intuit, PMI Insurance, Safeway and Westin Hotels.
Erik is a graduate of the University of Denver with a B.S. in Accounting. His current memberships include the AICPA and the California Society of CPAs.
