—Assurance Partner

Jim is an assurance partner in the Minneapolis office of Grant Thornton LLP.  His primary emphasis and expertise relates to financial reporting and management, operational and strategic issues, and planning for middle-market companies.  He is responsible for providing and overseeing full and integrated service to his clients and managing all aspects of the Firm’s relationship with those clients.

During Jim’s twenty seven years with the firm, he has served a variety of public and private companies primarily in the manufacturing, distribution, and technologies industries.  He served on the Grant Thornton LLP National Manufacturing Industry Committee and currently leads the Firm’s Minneapolis Technology Industry Practice.

Jim is an active member of a variety of professional associations and has been a frequent instructor for Grant Thornton LLP’s national training and other speaking engagements. He is licensed as a CPA in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Montana.
