Stephen is a director with Grant Thornton Corporate Finance LLC, the investment-banking subsidiary of Grant Thornton LLP. He has been involved in numerous transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings and refinancings. He is also the primary liaison point for cross-border transactions involving U.S. and European companies.

Stephen has 10 years experience and is primarily responsible for managing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. In this capacity he coordinates the transaction process from buyer research through to deal structuring, negotiations and closing. His principal focus is on mid-cap technology M&A, an area in which he has specialized for the last four years.

He is a registered representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers, on the board of directors of the Boston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and a chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Stephen earned a bachelor of science in economics from the University of Bristol, England.
