Senior Sales Engineer
Softrax is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Engineer with proven expertise supporting enterprise software sales teams calling on Fortune 1000 companies. The candidate will be part of the Softrax Revenue Manager sales team responsible for selling Softrax’s next generation suite of enterprise revenue management software. The Senior Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting the sales team in exceeding revenue objectives by helping to qualify accounts, conducting discovery sessions, preparing and delivering solution based product presentations, and delivering proof of concept demonstrations which meet customer business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and execution of the sales strategy by assisting the sales representative in the identification of key milestones and tactics necessary to win the opportunity.
- Manage the customer discovery process including on site customer interview sessions, detailed revenue process documentation and revenue process flow diagrams.
- Help position Softrax and our value proposition throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop targeted presentations for key stakeholders and senior executives to demonstrate our understanding of customer’s revenue processes, key pain points, business objectives and how our solution maps to these requirements.
- Develop customer specific demonstrations with relevant customer revenue processes and data. Product demonstrations will focus on validating the Softrax value proposition to the executive team and provide proof of concept to key stakeholders.
- Manage and support proposal development.
- Manage RFI / RFP responses, ensuring compelling answers to questions.
- Provide feedback to organization regarding product features and enhancements.
- Support marketing initiatives and trade-shows.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree required with 5 or more years selling/presales/consulting and product demonstration experience for enterprise software sales to senior executives and decision makers at Fortune 1000 companies. or equivalent industry experience. Oracle / SAP experience a plus.
- Proven experience developing and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations addressing key customer pain points and business processes.
- Demonstrable skills mapping complex business processes.
- Business justification experience - ROI / TCO / selling business benefits to tackle pains / challenges.
- Strong understanding of business processes related to financial application software.
- Strong verbal, written and communication skills – presentation development, process narratives, process visualization, verbal presentations, product demonstrations, consultative interview skills.
- Some travel – 50%
